There are three major programs of the Junior Church Department.  Junior Church is for children ages two through Kindergarten.  Junior Church II is for children in first grade and second grade.  Currently the first two are combined due to numbers.  Junior Church III is for children in third grade and fourth grade.  Junior Church, Junior Church II, and Junior Church III meet during the church morning service.  These programs continue to be a viable aspect of our young children’s lives with learning about Jesus through Bible stories and activities taught to them weekly.

The Junior Church children also enjoy coloring pictures relative to the week’s lesson, craft time, singing time, and a light snack.  Junior Church III incorporates a majority of the items from the Sunday School materials that are not being used during the Sunday School hour, simply because of time constraints.  Also, during this time the children are learning the Books of the Bible, learning their weekly Bible verses, and having a craft time.

Pittsgrove Baptist Church is extremely blessed to have many teachers and helpers in the Junior Church Department who continue to serve the Lord by giving their time and talents for the children of our congregation.
